Dear Editor,
I would like to send an invitation to all who can knit to join our knitting group for the “Wrap with Love” organisation. We meet on the fourth Thursday of every month. We knit 25cm squares which are sewn together to make wraps. Each wrap needs 28 squares.
These are then sent to Orange and then to Sydney where they are then sent to any place in the world to warm those in need. Our wraps are displayed in the HACC office window for everyone to see before sending them on. If you cannot knit but would like to assist by donating 8ply acrylic wool, it can be left at the HACC office.
Last year we welcomed Moyne knitters and were delighted with the beautiful wraps they produced. I hope we will see some new faces at our meetings this year, the first of which will be held on Thursday the 22nd March at 10.00am
Come bring your size 8 needles, enjoy a cuppa and chat while you contribute to our valuable, colourful wraps.
