Congratulations to Rivers Road and Mr Embroidery for winning their finals games and making it through to the grand finale. They will join Central Motors and Wildcats next week to see which 2 teams will be capped champions of 2014 Canowindra Touch Football.
Both games were extremely close, Rivers Road and S&S were tied 3 each then with a minute to go Rivers Road were able to cross. Fire Brigade left it until full time to cross on the buzzer taking their score to 4 all and the game into extra time. Mr Embroidery capitalised on this and scored in the corner to go through to the last round.
Next week, Monday 10th March, will be the A & B grand finals. Both games will be at 6.30pm followed by a BBQ and presentation at the Canowindra Golf Club. All players are invited to come along and watch the games and grab a sausage afterwards.
