JUNIOR RUGBY

20 September, 2017 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Canowindra Junior Rugby Pythons had their Presentation day on Sunday afternoon. Matt Rice started the presentation off with a great speech, followed with the awards. Under 7’S Coach Dom Townsend spoke about what a great year the little ones had. Most Improved went to Campbell Duguid and Best and Fairest to Clancy Hazelton.

Under 9’s Coach Luke Breen spoke about all the players and praised each of them for their efforts and developments over the season. Most Improved went to Fred Durkin and Best and Fairest went to Jack Smyth and Cooper Breen. Under 11’s Coach Matt Rice congratulated all the boys individually about what great things they had accomplished and succeeded in over the year. Most Improved went to Kieran Kinsela & Paddy McKiernan. Best and Fairest went to Harry Hazelton and Matthew McKenna. Coach’s award went to Ned Jamieson and Mitchell Stephens.

Parents all brought a plate to share and enjoyed a BBQ lunch followed by home cooked desserts. A great annual event that brings our Junior Rugby community together for a social afternoon that’s enjoyed by all.
