MEN’S BOWLS
Last Saturday ten teams competed in turn around triples mixed mufti bowls for prize money proudly sponsored by Men’s Bowls. The winners were the team of Jodie Trimbell, Matthew Lawrence and Vinnie Mirto. The runners up were the team of Roger Traves, Ian Nelder and John Pickard.
Last Sunday three consistency singles matches were played. Matthew Lawrence played against Brent Lees where the scores were close throughout the game with Matthew winning the game 153-137.
Garry Fairley played against Cyril Webb where Cyril took control of the game winning 153-107. Terry Mooney played against Matt Cramp where Terry did not have a good day with Matt winning the game 152-93.

WOMEN’S BOWLS
Results of matches played 22 August Rose Bowl Semi-Finals Jo Davies defeated Gwen Haydon 25-19. Dianne Mooney defeated Libby Balcombe 26-18. Next week will be the final of the Rose Bowl between Jo Davies and Dianne Mooney.
Consistency Matches Bobbie Turner defeated Nancy Morrow 151-139 and Daph Bryant defeated Leanne Stevenson 154-131. Thanks to markers Penny Nash, Moyna Rue, Deanna Noble and Ellen Petty. The lucky number was won by Di Slattery with number 24.
We had a visit from David Inglis who was representing Bowls Australia. He had a lot of helpful advice to offer and has indicated his willingness to come back for further visits to enrich our Club with his knowledge.
