The boys this week played a tough game in slippery conditions to come away with a win against the Parkes Boars 32-17. Points for the week went to:

1 Point – Jackson Stacey and Andy Townsend
This Saturday at 11am the under 13’s have a home game against Mudgee at the oval in Canowindra. The Senior Rugby Club are going to provide a BBQ for both teams and the bar in the clubhouse will be open. All past & present python families are invited for lunch. The Rugby Club is also planning a function at the Clubhouse for the Bledisloe Cup – All Blacks v Wallabies on Saturday 19th August.
Keep your eyes peeled as the SBS is currently putting together a story on grassroots rugby and profiling towns who have such a strong junior/walla team and then no senior team – they are trying to find out what happens to rugby in between these years? The SBS was in town on Friday at rugby training to get some footage for the report.
