Canowindra’s netball courts are a buzz again this year with the start of the new season already underway.
35 girls have registered for Net Set Go on Friday afternoons.
“To have so many girls join us again for Netball this year is fantastic! We had such an amazing year last year, the support we received from the community was over- whelming. We have been able to purchase a lot of new training equipment, which will get a lot of use from our girls. Our Fridays are full of fun activities,” said coordinator Mandy Townsend.
This year has been another exciting step for the Canowindra PythoNetties, as 13 of the girls are making the trip to Cowra each Saturday morning to play in the Cowra Jun- ior competition. The Pythonetties also have 6 girls joining the Under 10’s Development Squad training sessions.
“The girls are loving all the extra game time and every time they step on the court their skills are improving, which is great to see,” said Mandy.
