Last Saturday a mixed pairs game was played with Joice McNaught and Vinny Mirto against Nancy Morrow and Graham Wilson. Joice and Vinny led to the 12th end 13-8. Nancy and Graham then scored 5 shots on the next end to level the scores at 13 all. The game went down to the wire with scores level at 19 all on the last end. On the extra end Nancy was able to put a bowl close to the jack and it proved to be the winning shot as well as the game to Nancy and Graham winning 20-19.
Last Sunday the annual challenge of the Skirts Vs Shirts was played with everyone enjoying the day. The Shirts claimed the bragging rights playing for the club shield kindly supplied by Barry Rose. The Shirts won 73 ends to 58 ends of the Skirts. The winning team on the day was that of Ian Nelder, Tony and Michael Traves, while the runners up team was that of Mat Cramp, Garry Fairley and Matt McMullen. Thanks to everyone who helped on the day to make the day run smoothly.

Mixed mufti bowls will continue on Thursday 24 with names in by 1.30pm for 2.00pm start. All welcome. Wednesday badge draw is $450 and Friday badge draw is $200. Bingo this Thursday 11am.
