Canowindra has a big weekend planned full of fun and festive spirit. The Canowindra Christmas Shopping Night will commence from 3-7pm with so much on offer. There will be 26 businesses participating in the evening with a range of goods on offer from women’s clothing, kids clothing, candles, art, chocolate, toys, quirky gifts as well as traditional home wares. There will be great Christmas bargains on offer so be sure to come have a browse.
Spot the Santa’s on the rooftops as well as the big man making an appearance down the main street after getting his photo taken all afternoon. There are still spaces available to get your photo with Santa, contact the Preschool to secure your spot. There will be live entertainment throughout the evening as well as face painting. To wrap up a good night, pop into one of the local restaurants/cafes to enjoy a bite to eat.
The fun doesn’t stop here with a show and dinner on at the Services Club for $35 with Mike Winkworth performing some classics from Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley in the Two Kings show. Doors open at 7pm for the show to kick off at 7.30pm. Flickerfest is also on at Rosnay, a comedy wine and dine event starting at 6pm.
