Ladies golf continues after a successful tournament back in September. WDLGA Medals final day was held at Canowindra with 29 qualifiers from throughout the district. Finals day was held at Cowra since Warren was still unplayable, Annette, Eileen & Helen K all enjoyed the day. Annette played well missing out on the top prizes but won a ball. Special mention to Jan Myers from Grenfell who had a hole in one on the 5th.
A Melbourne Cup luncheon, that included a wonderful fashion parade by Saffi was enjoyed by all. Special thanks to Thelma and a few other ladies for making the day a success. Two tournament dates are Wellington Wednesday 9th November and Grenfell Sunday 4th December. Our presentation Day will be Wednesday 23rd, this year Chinese at $25 head, if you can purchase tickets at the Club before 18th for catering please. The end of year is fast approaching so thanks to our Captain Helen who has kept the programme running, thanks to the club staff with special mention to John for the magnificent job he does on the course.
