Jake Amos (pictured right) caught this 56cm Murray Cod in the Lachlan River on a lure hardbody. Jakes mum Kim was horrified when he told her he let the fish go after this picture was taken. Jake just shrugged his shoulders and said that the fish had obviously been in the River a long time and deserved to be let free. Perhaps Jakes next big catch won’t be so lucky!
