We had a good roll up of 21 players last Tues- day 21st January. Results of three triples and one pairs social games played.
Christine Pickard and Margaret Gosper defeated Betty Jenkins and Maureen Baillie 12-11.
Jenny Middleton, Daph Bryant and Nancy Morrow defeated Marion Wilson, Sandy McDonald and Shirley Robson 16-10.
Sheryn O’Malveney (who played lead and second) and Gwen Haydon defeated Ellen Petty, Jill Messenger and Colleen Crump 20-6. Diane Slattery, Radka Tatterson and Moyna Rue defeated Linda Miller, Bobbie Turner and
Heather Hoad 15-11. The Lucky Draw was won by Joice McNaught with No. 1. Nominations are open for the Club Major and Minor Singles and also for the District Singles and Pairs.
The teams for the No.4 and No. 3 Pennant teams have been selected and are on our Notice Board. The No. 4 Pennant games commence on Tuesday February 25th, the Manager is Shirley Robson and the No. 3 Pennant games commence on Tuesday 4th March, the Manager being Sheryn O’Malveney.
