After the success of the 2018 Central West Tractor Trek Tractorthon another will be held at the Canowindra Showground on the 3rd-4th August 2019 kicking off at 2pm.
Last year a massive $12,500 for chosen charity Little Wings was raised during the 24hour event. Little Wings is a not-forprofit organisation, whose aim is to support families to reduce the financial burden, emotional strain and travel fatigue experienced when a child is unwell.
Over the two days at the Showground the Canowindra and surrounding communities are invited to come along and support the vintage tractors that will be participating in the Tractorthon. There will also be vintage cars and rare tractors on display throughout the weekend. It also coincides with the Annual Swap Meet.
If you would like to get involved and sponsor a lap on the day or be an hourly sponsor please get in touch with Nick Clancy on 0404 057 746 or Roy White on 6344 1660.
Raffle tickets are on sale at Canowindra Tyre Service and the Canowindra Phoenix office with some great prizes on offer including a brand new Hyundai i30 to be won. Tickets are only $5 each.
The Central West Tractor Trek this year will be based in Dubbo and visit the towns of Wongrabon, Beni and Geurie along the way, the tractors will also visit the Taronga Western Plains Zoo. This year the trek will run for three days over the 27th-29th September.
