Rodney and Liz Watt from Felix Rams had a very successful 22nd Annual Ram Sale at Springvale recently with a full clearance of 197 lots.
Felix Rams sold 142 Poll Dorset rams to a top of $8,100 and average of $2,071, and 55 White Suffolk rams to a $4,600 top, and $1, 896 average.
“Liz, Isaac and I are all humbled by the strength and support at our 22nd Annual Sale. A big thank you to all buyers and underbidders. Great work from the team at Allan Gray and Co who ran a very efficient sale and delivery of rams,” said Mr Watt.
“We continue to be absolutely committed to accurate performance data collection and the use of ASBVs to select structurally sound rams to help prime lamb producers produce better lambs more efficiently,” concluded Mr Watt.
Over at Cudal last week, Ridgehaven Poll Dorsets cleared all 140 rams on the day.
The Ridgehaven Poll Dorsets sold to $3,600 top and averaging $1,644.
20/20 stud ewes were also sold on the day to a top of $2,700 and an average of $1,550.
